When my son turned four years old we planted a Blue Spruce tree on the grounds of the funeral home to honor his grandfather; whom he had never met.   

Over the past seven years, the tree has grown from six feet tall to over twenty feet high and is affectionately called the “Grandpa Tree”.  When my father died after a sudden illness when I was twenty eight years old, my mother told me his one wish was “to be remembered”.  This tree is a living, growing memory of my father we see everyday.

To spread the idea of creating living memories,  we are giving a live tree to be planted by the families whom utilize our services.  After May 1, 2019, a family will be presented with a small tree at the appropriate season to be planted by the family in memory of their loved one.
